Catering a Friend's Wedding?

A couple of things: 1) Have you ever catered an event? Do you know about food safety and laws? Do you have a way to keep that much food at a safe temperature (over 140 F) for the time it takes to serve that many people? In most states it is illegal to cater an event unless you have a commercial kitchen subject to inspections by the health department. 2) Have you considered having a non pork alternative? Not everyone eats pork, especially if they are kosher or halal. 3) What about a vegetarian alternative? I would warn that cooking a meal for a dozen people in your home is much different that cooking for 100. My biggest concern would be safety, especially when dealing with pork and chicken. Undercooked pork and chicken cross contamination is one of the easiest ways to make people sick. you admitted that you have not done this before, yet you are trying to prepare two of the most dangerous foods.

First off, they are not the Pinkerton Detective Agency. They are in another city, and can only do things so fast. They call you first to make sure it's not a false alarm. If they called the police first everytime, there would be a lot of fuss for nothing. The commercials always show them calling the family first. You going to sic a P.I. on an ex-friend of your's?

3. My friend HATES MY HORSE! ?

Yes, what you have missing is a genuine friend. Continue to be yourself and surely one will come along...how will you know if this is the genuine friend that you are waiting for? If the attitude, actions, speech, motivation, respect for you, etc, etc, etc is exactly opposite than the one that now calls herself your friend, hey. ...if and when it happens, now you can say that you have a REAL FRIEND....kick this non-friend to the curb, she does not deserve to waste your time nor your genuinely positive feelings about yourself and your horse. And who knows? She may be correct about your horse, time will tell, but the way that she is going about voicing her opinion is not that of a true friend, either way, practice saying, "Thanks but no thanks. " Besides, with friends like her, who needs enemies?

4. I have a question about home improvements for a tax write off.....?

The IRS forms will not require that information. They really only require that you list the amount. It also depends on the type of improvments that you are making as all will not qualify for a write off. Mostly insulation items such as roofing, siding, windows, and healting appliances can be writtin off. However, in the future if you were to ever get audited then the receipts for the work and the documentation of how you paid will need to be shown. I would suggest that you pay in the form of a check and that you keep the check for your file if this were to happen in the future. As for you friend, I wish that he would consider filing taxes because it is a Federal offense

Make some french toast and have breakfast for dinner 31. Set up a tent in your bedroom and act like you are camping 32. Try on outfits for school on Monday 33. Look online for dress ideas for a school dance 34. Make up jokes 35. Turn up the music and dance
