Hydrogen fuel cell technology is the strategic choice of China's future energy technology. After the organization and implementation of science and technology in many countries, China's hydrogen fuel cell technology has made a series of key technological breakthroughs, cultivated a number of enterprises engaged in the R & D of fuel cells and key parts, and initially formed a R & D system covering hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, hydrogen safety and fuel cell technology, It has gained successful experience in distributed energy, standby power supply for communication base stations, fuel cell vehicles, auxiliary power supply for rail transit and commercial demonstration applications. （2） Shortcomings of new energy vehicles in China

Despite the remarkable achievements, there are still technical weaknesses and severe challenges in some key core technologies.

First, there is still a lack of original technological breakthroughs in the field of power batteries. In terms of electric drive system, basic components such as high-speed bearings, IGBT and control chips still rely on imports, and there is a large gap between the third generation semiconductor and developed countries.

Second, in terms of fuel cell system, the level of stack is not world-class. Proton exchange membrane, high-pressure gas storage bottle and air compressor are still relatively backward and need to be imported; The hydrogenation infrastructure is still insufficient, which restricts the demonstration and verification of fuel cells. Third, in terms of automatic driving technology, China is still in the follow-up stage, and there is an obvious gap compared with the advanced level of foreign countries. Sensing systems and sensing systems such as lidar and micron wave radar still rely on imports, and there is still an obvious gap in multi-sensor fusion technology, control decision-making system, software, hardware and operating system, and cloud computing platform technology.

First, strengthen collaborative innovation and top-level design. Second, continue to tackle key core technologies of hydrogen fuel cells. The key special project of hydrogen and renewable energy led by the Ministry of science and technology and the project application guide in 2019 are now being studied by the expert group. The hydrogen energy part will focus on the research and development of core key technologies such as membrane electrode, bipolar plate, high-pressure hydrogen storage bottle, booster, hydrogen production and hydrogen storage, make up for shortcomings and strengthen capacity, make technological breakthroughs as soon as possible and improve independent research and development and supporting capacity
