How Do I Connect a Indash Without a Wire Harness My Car Is a 89 Cadillac Deville?

You should always get a harness, it makes everything so much easier and they are like 10 dollars....if not you have to look up ALL the wiring diagrams and if you mess up you are going to pay lots more money to get it fixed than you would have paid to buy the harness

1. Can a dog wear a collar AND a harness? Which is better??

Your dog can wear both, as long as there is enough room for collar and harness to fit comfortably. My dog wears both successfully

2. which is better for a lab collar or harness?

It depends on the dog. Whichever you get you want to be sure the dog can not slip out of it. If the dog is a foster is not it coming to you with a collar or something already? You should probably start reading up on dog training if you are new to this. Maybe find a class and ask if you can watch til you get the dog.

3. Did you ever use a harness on your child?

i would never use one, its degrading, i see people who use those and think to myself how stupid it is they just cant teach them not to run off. or carry them

4. On average, how much is it to repair a wire harness?

Search out a 91 Acura in the junkyard, and pull that harness. If the plug part is in decent shape, its fairly simple to patch the wires and use shrink wrap to seal out the repairs. If you do it yourself, you can probably do it for about 5-10 bucks!.

5. What are the positives and/or negatives of getting your dog a harness?

Well, it depends what you will be using the harness for. Is it for a medical condition? Is it going to be used to aid the dog in pulling things for you? (i.e. carts, sleds...things like that.) Or maybe you want a more comfortable "collar" for your dog? With things like these, it all just depends... But since you have a lab, I do not think a harness is the best thing to get. I own two yellow labs myself and I've tried using harnesses on them and the results were the same; either the harness broke off, or they slipped out of it by "scooting" backwards. This happened with different types of harnesses I've tried. One of my labs is a little on the hyper side, (he's a field lab, so I think that's why) and putting the harness on him just made it worse. [It encourages a dog to pull more than it would with just a collar because it feels more comfortable to the dog. If this is a problem with your lab at all, I would suggest getting a pinch collar.] If you are worried about it being a stress on your dog's shoulders/elbows, I found a website, (dogbreedz.com) that said this about it: "...While a much better choice over a regular collar or a choke collar, these harnesses can cause subluxations in the lower neck, shoulder, chest, and foreleg area. Again, the primary cause to this is often attributed to frustrated owners yanking back on the leash, which causes the harness to put a large amount of stress on the shoulder and chest areas." Overall, I would not recommend a harness for larger dogs such as labs. (With the exception if it's for a medical condition; like if your dog has asthma or something. It allows your dog to be able to breathe better than if it were wearing a collar.) Otherwise though, harnesses are best used with well trained smaller dogs. (From medium on down.) Anyway, I hope you find a good "collar" for your dog!

6. i have a wire harness for my car cd play?

the colors match on most of the new ones but sometime it's not exact. Usually it's written on the wires where the go to; something like LF for left front speaker, RR for right rear speaker. You could try google for an installation manual.

7. I have no power coming in to my 98 lincoln navigator factory radio on the wire harness?

Start with checking your radio fuse. If the fuse is good, use a test light to check the harness for power

Besides Initial Cost of Horse, Roughly How Much Should I Expect to Spend on a Harness Racing Horse?
I could write volumes on this subject! First, and most important, is to find a local trainer in your area who is HONEST. As in any business, there are all kinds of people involved. The actual costs of owning a harness horse, trotter or pacer depends on the area where you will be training/racing your horse, and the level of horse. Sometime "cheaper" horses end up costing more due to the maintenance issues, i.e., vet work, etc...stakes caliber horses, while the cost more initially, also cost more to "keep staked" to the various races. For someone wanting to get involved in the racing business, it would CERTAINLY be best to find a partner who knows the business. People that try to do it themselves, often learn the hard way, losing a lot of money and getting taken advantage of...(myself included!). Even as an attorney, when I got involved it was difficult...that was 17 years and about 50 horses ago! That said, its the most fun that I have ever had in any endeavor, and also, at times the most disappointing. Like when my trotter was 3 lengths in the lead in the Breeder's Crown ($800,000.00 purse!) and broke in the stretch, finishing last! To go back to answering your initial question...in the metropolitan New York/New Jersey area it averages in the vicinity of $3,500. - $4,500.00 per month to keep a horse training and racing. Remember, this can vary widely! I have brought several people into the business...and I tell everyone the same thing...you will have a wonderful, exciting time...but be sure to only use money that you can afford to lose. Its just like going to the racetrack and gambling...if you can not afford to lose, you should not be there! I currently own a stallion, 2 broodmares and three trotters that are in training/racing. Its a fantastic and fun adventure...but the path is full of potential potholes if you do not watch out...be careful!1. best collar/harness for a basset hound?Defiantly no choke or prong collars, best one to use is a gentle leader. Fits over the nose, does not close the mouth but turns the dog head to the side when they pull. These work wonders2. why cant i find a wiring harness for my 02 cavalier?any car stereo shop will have the harness you need. the part you need is a metra 70-2003 or a gmos-01. the gmos-01 will retain your factory door chime, give you an accessory power and a retained accessory power and retain the use of your diagnostic port. it will be more expensive but if you go with the 70-2003 you will have to run a wire to fuse box to get accessory power, so the radio turns on and off with the key, and you will lose all the other features listed above3. Flip Flops Back Straps - How To Install**To ensure your Sandal Harness/flip flop back straps fit properly, please purchase the correct size. If you wear Havana flip flops, please purchase the next size up from your size; or if your foot is wide (order size up) or narrow (size down). Example: shoe size 7-9; if foot size is 7 narrow - order size 6 (size down); if foot size is 9 wide - order size 10 (size up); if size 8 narrow or wide should be fine with size 7-9. Flip flops backs straps are to be attached and worn as described; not intended for other use or to be worn with any other footwear other than flip flops. The full Sandal Harness has a body (two straps to circumference the ankle) and a ring at each end (ring without hook and ring with hook). These rings will be attached to flip flop posts. See directions and video below: take the 1st ring with no hook, and wrap it around the inside flip flop post pull the body of the sandal harness through the 1st ring to secure it to the flip flop post. slip your foot through the body take the 2nd ring with hook and wrap it around the other (outside) flip flop post and secure it to the hook inside the ring (skip next step and go to last bullet) or instead of slipping your foot into the body, you can simply connect the 2nd ring to the second post and then slip your foot into the body adjust flip flop and sandal harness accordingly See video below for brief demonstration: To in stall the Half Sandal Harness, simply eliminate the step of putting your foot through the full sandal harness body; as the body now is one strap. Wrap the one strap behind foot and secure as noted above. **There are three types of half Sandal Harness/flip flop back straps and a different install for each. Videos coming soon. The ring hook method is noted above.
