On a Pioneer Deh 1600 Car Stereo What Do the Blue and White Wires Do? Which One Is the Ground Wire?

On a Pioneer Deh 1600 car stereo what do the blue and white wires do? Which one is the ground wire? Thank you.?

Ground is black . if i remember right you should have a white and a white stripe - that should be the POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE for the left speaker. it is pretty easy. if you look close enough on the wires it SHOULD say what colors go to which speaker i found this. Yellow - Constant 12 Volt (battery) Red - Accesory 12 volt (switched) only 12 volts when car in accesory or on position Black - Ground (chasis) White/white with black stripe - Front left speaker (black stripe is negative polarity) Gray/Gray with black stripe - Front right speaker (stripe negative) Green/green w/ black - rear left purple/purple w/ black - rear right solid blue - power anteanna (not all have this wire) blue w white stripe - remote turn on

Positive negative wires on Camaro?

You cannot use a circuit tester on speaker wires. It is not the correct tester. All you have to do is look at factory speaker it's marked positive and negative

Wires (song)

"Wires" is a song by the British rock band Athlete from their second studio album, Tourist. It was released 17 January 2005 as the lead single from that album, peaking at number four on the UK Singles Chart. The song was written by lead singer Joel Pott about his daughter, who became ill after birth and was rushed to intensive care. Pott paid tribute to hospital worker Ben McQuade, who played a huge part in saving his daughter's life.

How should I run multiple romex(12/2) wires in a wall?

I would avoid using large holes as a concern for weakening the board. There is also a potential concern for having a large number of conductors grouped together due to heating. I would suggest running two cables per hole, a couple inches apart should be plenty. Center in the board to reduce chances of a nail or screw hitting the wires.

why do people throw there shoes over the telephone wires?

Perhaps they smell so badly that they want to give them a thorough exposure to air and do not want to use their own washing lines in their own backyard for that. We have that also in our street, since a year. This are white runners with some red lining on the side. I just recently thought that the shoes should be now okay After hanging there in autumn, winter, spring and now summer, and wait every day for the rightful owners to collect them and enjoy to wear them again. Otherwise it could be a sign if people have guests. You know like in former times they would leave signs in the bushes so people would know where to go. Perhaps they do that here. They throw their shoes up into the wires, so that relatives know where to drive to find their houses. You know, you can never know what is going on in peoples mind. Edit. (Ups, I meant that as a joke. ) If this was a serious question, I would assume that the big brother of the girl who formerly owned the shoes, which hang since a year on these wires in our street, probably wanted to do something rude, or make a joke. At least it could seem like fun for some people to throw shoes into wires. Do not you think so?

How to reconnect chewed wires?

The wire nut option would work but would not look the best. I would go to your local hardware store and get a butt connector and some shrink tubing. Slide the shrink tube over the wire. Then place each end of your wire into the butt connector(be sure to remove appr. 3/8" of insulation). Crimp the connector onto the wire. Slide the shrink tubing to cover the connector and heat with lighter. This will give a smooth, finished look. Much cleaner than tape

Amp Won't Turn on, How Do I Use a Multimeter to Check the Wires?
if your 2nd amp knowingly works fine, sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere. I remember when I had a similar problem & it was because of a tarnished/corroded end of the wire INSIDE the fuse connection at the battery. I cleaned it off with sandpaper & all was fine. (you do have a fuse assembly on your main amp power wire near your battery, right?) If not, CORRECT THIS NOW before you continue. BEFORE you start testing voltage, since you will be exposing the main 12v lead to from your amp to your battery... make SURE it WILL NOT, WILL NOT, WILL NOT touch any metal !!!!! This will at a minimum blow your inline fuse next to your battery - OR WORSE if you do not have this wire fused - could cause an EXPLOSION !!!! set your meter to DC (direct current), NOT ac. touch the black lead of the meter to a CLEAN BARE piece of metal & touch the red lead of the meter to your main power wire to the battery. readout should say 12 volts (or something close to that). If it does not ready anything, check your connection at the battery & try it again. If it DOES read 12v (or so) continue... Reconnect the main lead to your amp & tape it off, etc. to seal it. Now we will ck your 12v switched lead (the wire that turns on your amp when you turn your radio on). Again, make sure the 12v switched lead will not touch any metal when you un-tape it. Turn your key to ACC, turn on your radio, black meter lead to clean ground, red meter lead to 12v switched lead wire. Again, should read 12v. If it does read 12v also, your amp should turn on. good luck, D.1. Gold coated multimeter test probesWhile all of the OP's questions have been answered fully, a are al world' example is something I learnt while I was doing work experience at an Aerospace/Defence company (many years ago at the tender age of 15):For certain RF devices it is not uncommon for whole circuit boards to be fabricated with 'pure' (i.e. solid, not coated) gold tracks, pads, and vias on ceramic rather than fibreglass boards. In this sort of scenario, standard resistive, inductive and capacitive components are actually built into the PCB substrate rather than soldered on afterwards. For example, a resistor is created by filling the gap where the component would sit with a blob - literally - of resistive material, usually within a milled 'well' to stop it blobbing all over the place. This blob is then lazer-cut down to the correct, immaculately precise value. A resistance meter is of course required, which is where gold-plated tips are essential. As the tracks themselves often have a critical resistance it is important not to damage them. Jabbing at a gold track with anything harder will disturb the track's surface and potentially comprimise it's resistance, hence the need for gold tips - gold-on-gold of will never cause this (unless you try really hard).2. how do i test a computer power supply without a multimeter?plug it into a working motherboard and if the fan in the supply spins it most likely will work3. Is it normal for my car battery to drop to 12.35 volts by multimeter overnight?according to your gizmo's that is in the car yes it is normal4. How is multimeter is used as an voltmeter?Gronk? All a multi-meter is is a whole stack of special insturments with all the redundant components removed. The most classic model is the Simpson model 260-8 which is just as ancient as it looks. Go look at a closeup immage. Digital multi-meters may work diferently, as in selecting internal circuitry electronically instead of mechanically.Remember, that ALL analog meters consist of a moving coil attached to a spring and an indicator "hand". It cares not whether the current that causes the coil to move is caused by a voltage test, a current test, an impedance test, or any other function that the meter might support. So you attach the circuit for a volt meter to one position on the selector switch, and resistance on the next and current on the one after that... There really is not any mystery here. All of the circuits provide their output to the meter dial and thus the device works...How is multimeter is used as an voltmeter?.
