Video of Prince Fielder's Attempted Slide?

That was hilarious. I can not find it on Youtube yet but I did manage to find it on Google Video. Just search prince fielder. I think it's the last video. It does not have the same camera angles that the highlights I saw on tv has but it's still crazy funny. I am gonna keep looking on youtube to see if they have a better one.

1. Make a slide background optional in Beamer [duplicate]

You can always declare a local empty background

2. Should the comments/discussion slide-in from the side?

I have found that Google Docs' comments to be very efficient, natural and easy to use

3. Is a sidekick slide without a data plan possible?

umm okay first question - yeah you can. the sidekick isnt a smart phone and doesnt require a data plan. phones that doo would be a blackberry or a htc phone. second question - that doesnt matter if you have a data plan or not. umm i had a sk like 2 years ago so heres what happens when you take a picture. you take it, and it stays on the screen for like 15 seconds ( it stays no matter if you flip the phone ) then it will automaticly save. GOODLUCK :) ** umm if you mean close the phone as close the account ; sorry yeah it will still save because its saved too your memory card. if you ment just flip it then oh okay i answered right :D

4. Is it possible to remove a bullet from a magazine without firing the gun?

Hit the mag release to release the magazine (hence, it's name) Pull and hold slide back (or engage slide lock/release) and visually look to see that chamber is "clear" (no cartridge in it).

5. Do you shove it in or slide it in?

slide it in...lol

6. what is the gold lubricant found on the slide of new glocks?

special GLock Lube. they dont tell you what it is. Its like their verson of the Big Mac secret Sauce. Leave it on as long as possible. you will not need to lube your glock til it wears off. I've owned 2 so far, And both times the gunsmith told me the dame thing that i just told you. DO NOT PUT LUBE ON THE PARTS WITH IT ON THERE TIL ITS ALMOST GONE!! the different lubes could gum up together. and be a problem.

7. Is this mobile slide menu user-friendly?

You are using two patterns in your design. The main menu uses the navigation drawer pattern and the sub-menu uses the accordion menu pattern. I've only seen one application on my Android phone which combines these patterns so I am guessing that this design is uncommon. This is not typical behaviour for an accordion menu. Accordion headers are used to expand and collapse content only. They are not used to link to content. Additionally, users who are familiar with the Navigation drawer pattern will expect the entire menu item to be a single touch target. Having a separate touch target for the arrow icon will not be intuitive in my opinion. Additionally, having the sub-menu in your main menu and a home page for each chapter means you have duplicated your navigation. I would consider removing the accordion and using the grid of sub-categories on the Chapter home page for navigation. In this way, your use of the Navigation drawer would be more aligned with what user's already expect.

8. Uncover lstlisting on a particular slide using onslide or uncover

Verbatim material cannot appear in an argument to another command (up to a certain point you could try using an external file and inputting it with lstinputlisting) and use uncover on onslide, but the best approach here is to use the onlyenv environment for your listing (since the frame contains verbatim material it requires the fragile option):I also added an optional overlayarea environment to prevent possible "jumps". An animation of the result:

9. What to put at the end of a slip n' slide...?

as a kid, we used to put a bunch of inflatable pool toys with some sprinklers at the end. kind of acted like a wet speed bump

10. Safari not working on iPhone 4?

Safari crashed. Just restart your phone (hold down the power button until it says slide to power down)

Cleaning Photo Slides - How to Clean 35mm Slides Before Digitization
Cleaning Photo Slides - How to Clean 35mm Slides Before DigitizationSlides provide amazing, 1st generation images - creating the ability to produce uninhibited printed and digital copies of the original picture. HOWEVER, for the digital images to be clear, you must scan a clean slide. Nowadays, slides typically end up stored in carousels or boxes in attics and basements. This exposes them to dirt, dust, and other debris. This can cause permanent damage to your 35mm slides if you are not careful. To ensure the safety and longevity of your images, they need to be scanned either by yourself or a company like Smooth Photo Scanning Services. But, prior to scanning, make sure you have a clean slide to receive the highest quality scan. Digital ICE Technology: A variety of high-quality scanners come equipped with this technology. To detect dust particles & minor scratches prior to scanning, digital ICE utilizes infra-red (IR) light. Defects detected by IR light are then corrected as the images are scanned. What is more is this technology also color corrects, optimizes contrast & exposure, and reduces film noise. You can either purchase a scanner that has this technology or you can use Smooth Photo Scanning for the 35mm slide scanning services- we only use slide scanners with Digital ICE technology. While digital ICE is amazing for mildly dirty slides, slides may need to be cleaned prior to scanning if there is a substantial amount of dust, dirt or debris. Hands-on Approach: You will need a microfiber cloth, similar to the ones used for cleaning glasses lenses, & clean gloves. Then you will clean slides by gently wiping the debris off. Be sure you are gentle - as using to much pressure can leave smudges. Using gloves ensures that you wo not get any finger prints on the slides and that the oils in your hands wo not degrade the emulsion layer of the slide, but this method can be done without them if you are careful to only hold the edges of the slides. *If slides are mounted in cardboard or plastic it is best to remove it to avoid just pushing any debris to the edges. Compressed Air: Some people worry that using the hands-on method to clean slides leaves room for accidental scratches. If you are nervous about this you can also use compressed air. Using compressed air allows for larger debris to be blown of of slides without as big of a risk for leaving scratches on the film as using a cloth. Alcohol-Based Cleaning Solution: We only recommend using this method if you are experienced with handling different types of film media. Make sure you have an alcohol based film cleaner, cotton pads, and compressed air. Use a film cleaner that has a neutral pH level and contains NO WATER. Water will damage your slides. Pour the film cleaner on the a cotton pad and gently wipe the slides. Do not over-saturate the cotton pads. After you have fully wiped every slide - use compressed air to blow off any cotton fibers that may remain and to dry the remainder of the film cleaner. All of these methods will result in clean slides perfect for scanning! Exercise caution and use a gentle touch ensuring none of the debris accidentally scratches the 35mm slides during cleaning. Once your slides are clean, place your order with Smooth Photo Scanning so we can get started scanning! Cora Foley has worked at Smooth Photo Scanning for almost 4 years now. Her passion for memory creation and preservation drew her to this family-owned company. After using Smooth Photo Scanning Services for her own memories, she wanted to help the company spread their reach so more people can enjoy, share and preserve their own experiences through digitized photos, negatives, video tapes and more. She loves working at this company due to their passion of preserving important moments!— — — — — —Home Made slip n slides?Haha, the answer about embarrassing your daughter gave me a chuckle, although it's completely possible. I think you should ask her how she feels about an improv slip n slide first, otherwise you efforts might end up being a disaster. HOWEVER, I used to make homemade slip n slides all the time! It's easy! I used to use my dad's tarps he kept in the garage for painting. Obviously clean ones work the best (they work great, actually!) but I even used the ones with lots of dried paint on them on occasion-- you just end up with paint crusts all over you, which I did not care about. Anyway, if you do not have any you can go to a hardware store and pick up a bunch of big blue tarps. Cover em with water (sprinklers are super fun) and they work beautifully! You can even overlap them to make them as long as you want. I should also note that I did this when I was probably around 16, so it's not like I was a 5 year old kid. It might be worth a try! :) Have fun
