What Is the Best Way to Wire Up a Trailer Harness to a Truck?

I could write volumes on this subject! First, and most important, is to find a local trainer in your area who is HONEST. As in any business, there are all kinds of people involved. The actual costs of owning a harness horse, trotter or pacer depends on the area where you will be training/racing your horse, and the level of horse. Sometime "cheaper" horses end up costing more due to the maintenance issues, i.e., vet work, etc...stakes caliber horses, while the cost more initially, also cost more to "keep staked" to the various races. For someone wanting to get involved in the racing business, it would CERTAINLY be best to find a partner who knows the business. People that try to do it themselves, often learn the hard way, losing a lot of money and getting taken advantage of...(myself included!). Even as an attorney, when I got involved it was difficult...that was 17 years and about 50 horses ago! That said, its the most fun that I have ever had in any endeavor, and also, at times the most disappointing. Like when my trotter was 3 lengths in the lead in the Breeder's Crown ($800,000.00 purse!) and broke in the stretch, finishing last! To go back to answering your initial question...in the metropolitan New York/New Jersey area it averages in the vicinity of $3,500. - $4,500.00 per month to keep a horse training and racing. Remember, this can vary widely! I have brought several people into the business...and I tell everyone the same thing...you will have a wonderful, exciting time...but be sure to only use money that you can afford to lose. These work wonders2. why cant i find a wiring harness for my 02 cavalier?any car stereo shop will have the harness you need. the part you need is a metra 70-2003 or a gmos-01. the gmos-01 will retain your factory door chime, give you an accessory power and a retained accessory power and retain the use of your diagnostic port. it will be more expensive but if you go with the 70-2003 you will have to run a wire to fuse box to get accessory power, so the radio turns on and off with the key, and you will lose all the other features listed above3. Flip Flops Back Straps - How To Install**To ensure your Sandal Harness/flip flop back straps fit properly, please purchase the correct size. If you wear Havana flip flops, please purchase the next size up from your size; or if your foot is wide (order size up) or narrow (size down). Example: shoe size 7-9; if foot size is 7 narrow - order size 6 (size down); if foot size is 9 wide - order size 10 (size up); if size 8 narrow or wide should be fine with size 7-9. Flip flops backs straps are to be attached and worn as described; not intended for other use or to be worn with any other footwear other than flip flops. The full Sandal Harness has a body (two straps to circumference the ankle) and a ring at each end (ring without hook and ring with hook). These rings will be attached to flip flop posts. See directions and video below: take the 1st ring with no hook, and wrap it around the inside flip flop post pull the body of the sandal harness through the 1st ring to secure it to the flip flop post. slip your foot through the body take the 2nd ring with hook and wrap it around the other (outside) flip flop post and secure it to the hook inside the ring (skip next step and go to last bullet) or instead of slipping your foot into the body, you can simply connect the 2nd ring to the second post and then slip your foot into the body adjust flip flop and sandal harness accordingly See video below for brief demonstration: To in stall the Half Sandal Harness, simply eliminate the step of putting your foot through the full sandal harness body; as the body now is one strap.
