The Lawsuit Abuse Reduction Act of 2013 was introduced on July 11, 2013 by Rep. Lamar Smith (R, TX-21). It was referred to the United States House Committee on the Judiciary and the United States House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice. The House Judiciary committee voted to report the bill on September 11, 2013 by a vote of 17-10. House Report 113-255 was released to accompany the bill on October 30, 2013. On November 8, 2013, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor announced that the bill would be considered during the week of November 11, 2013. The House was scheduled to work on this bill on November 14, 2013.

Charcoal was created to be a villain, by means of a Wizard magazine contest. However, Wizard Entertainment failed to establish certain legal specifics in the language of their contest rules, leaving the ownership of the character's copyright in question (normally in such a situation, steps would be taken to ensure that, unless otherwise stated, such a character's copyright would legally belong to the comic's publisher). Furthermore, Wizard Entertainment reportedly failed to provide the contest winner with other prizes promised along with the winning character's appearance in a Marvel comic. Feeling undercompensated, Charcoal's creator attempted to legally claim the copyright for the character from Marvel. Meanwhile, writer Fabian Nicieza had decided to kill off Charcoal and resurrect him later on. Because of the legal issues, Marvel told Nicieza it "wasn't worth" bringing the character back.

The original intent of Occupy Las Vegas, as with many of the other Occupy movements, was to denounce the role that large corporations had in promulgating the financial crisis. The protesters in Las Vegas, as in other movements throughout the world, have described themselves as the "99 percent." This statement comes from the fact that 1% of the population owns 44% of the wealth in the United States.

One of the features the Occupy Las Vegas Event had at the beginning was that the occupation began progressing with little interference from the police and the city government. The organizers and occupiers had been mainly cooperative with the police, and some of the protesters had expressed appreciation for the role that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has played during the occupation.

In the 20th century the city of Surat has suffered from some 20 floods. The 1968 flood was one of the major floods with peak water flow of about 15 lakh cubic foot per second (cfs or cusec), while the 1970 flood had a peak flow about 13.14 lakh cfs.

The Ukai Dam was constructed in 1972, flood control was one of the objectives of the dam's construction. After the dam was constructed 90 km upstream from Surat, there were no major floods until 1994. The floods of 1978 and 1979 were effectively managed by the dam.

In the 1998 flood more than 30% area of Surat was flooded due to the release of water from Ukai Dam.

After returning to Peshawar in 1934, he was approached by a group of leading Muslims from Peshawar City to set up a high school for Muslim students. Till that time the Khalsa school (Located near Dakki Nal Bandi) was the only school within the city. After consultations with the Head master of the Khalsa School and with other notables of Peshawar, he launched the Islamia High School in Peshawar city and became its first head master. In the 1946 Elections Yahya contested as a Congress Candidate against Sardar Abdul Rab Nishtar and defeated him with a heavy margin of approx 8,000 votes. He subsequently became The Minister of Education of the North West Frontier Province in Dr. Khan Sahibs 2nd Ministry. During his short stint as Education Minister (Partition of the Sub Continent in 1947 led to the dissolution of the Assembly) he put forward the proposal for Peshawar University to be established.

In the 1960s he was the Director for Special Education, Tribal Areas and Princely States.

The WMA consists of a mixture of bottomland hardwood trees that includes bitter pecan, overcup oak, nuttall oak, bald cypress, sweet pecan tree, honey locust, hackberry, sycamore, green ash, cottonwood tree (Populus heterophylla or possibly Populus heterophylla), and willow trees. The land is flat and poorly drained, including swampland, with many lakes and bayous. Wildlife include deer, turkey, squirrel, rabbit, waterfowl, woodcock, dove, and snipe. Fur bearers are the raccoon, mink, nutria, beaver, bobcat, fox, otter, and coyote. There is an annual public alligator lottery and fishing includes bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish. Commercial fishing offers buffalo (considered a rough fish to anglers), carp (also a rough fish), drum (fish), gar, bowfin, and catfish.

Julio Snchez begun his career at his father's broadcasting company. Snchez intended to enter the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, however most of his journalistic experience was shaped by his empirical approach (See Peter Jennings for other examples of empiric journalists).

Snchez major influence comes from his professional mentor, Colombian journalist Yamid Amat whom he worked in Caracol Radio.

Mr. Snchez worked with Colombian radio station Caracol Estreo (predecessor of W Radio) hosting its morning news show Viva FM from 1991 to 1996. In 1996 he moved his show to La FM, a station owned by RCN Radio. In 2003 he came back to Caracol Radio's W Radio, which is currently owned by the Spanish group PRISA.

Night Sun were a German rock band consisting of Bruno Schaab (vocals, bass), Walter Kirchgessner (guitar), Knut Rossler (organ, saxophon) and Ulrich Staudt (drums).

Their one and only album, Mournin', was released in 1972 on Polydor's Zebra label. Kirchgessner's compositions and way of guitar playing reminds of Deep Purples's Ritchie Blackmore, and Schaab's vocals recalled the screams of Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin. The group played a loud, Deep Purple/Black Sabbath/Led Zeppelin style rock, with a characteristic "heavy progressive" instrumentation of lead guitar, organ, bass and drums. The album was produced by Konrad Plank (whose production credits include Kraftwerk's early output and Ash Ra Tempel) at the Windrose Studio, Hamburg.

With their sudden shifts of rhythm structures, guitar-with-organ riffing style and some studio effects, particularly phasing, Night Sun never went too close to the ordinary boogie and rock'n'roll trap.

Their sound consisted of many elements, all of which will be of interest to fans of Thrash, Stoner, Doom, Power and Prog Metal, and their 1970s roots.

Pipe Dream was first published in the form of "The Colonial News" on November 22, 1946, the same year as the founding of Triple Cities Colleges, the forebear of Binghamton University. The Colonial News' first editors wrote:

This is a new paper in a new college. It is up to you, all of you, to insure its success. It will reflect your views and opinions, those of the aggregate student body. Primarily as a news organ it will reflect your achievementsand your failures.The paper's name was changed to Pipe Dream in 1970 in protest of the Vietnam War.

The EPTA network was formally established in 1990, on a recommendation by the UK's parliamentary TA office Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology, under the patronage of the President of the European Parliament, Mr Enrique Baron Crespo. The network has a light structure, guided by the EPTA Council and by meetings of the Directors of the EPTA partner organizations. The EPTA Council is the steering committee of the EPTA network, and consists of Members of Parliament or representatives of the advisory boards for the respective EPTA organization. The Council decides on organizational matters such as co-operation within the network and the status of members and associates. The Presidency of EPTA rotates among full members each year. The tasks of the EPTA member organization holding the presidency are to coordinate the EPTA network activities and to host the annual EPTA conference, Council meeting and Directors' meeting.

Vildhjarta is a Swedish progressive metal band from Hudiksvall, formed in 2005. The band plays in a Meshuggah-influenced musical style employing heavily down-tuned seven-string guitars, as well as harmonic minor chord progressions, jarring staccato riffs, layers of reverberant guitars and dual lead vocalists. The group released a 2-track EP entitled Omnislash in 2009 before they proceeded to sign with Century Media Records in 2011, spawning their debut full-length album Msstaden that same year. In 2013, they followed up with a second EP, Thousands of Evils released on an exclusive 1,000-copy vinyl record run. An upcoming second full-length album has also been confirmed.

The word "vildhjrta" translates to "wildheart" in Swedish.
