What Is Your Favorite "Gay Cult Film"?

Although I dont belive Rocky Horror Picture Show was specifically towards GLBTQ (gay, lesbian, bi, transgendered questioning) people, I would say it is my favorite. And widely accepted in the GLBTQ community because it's all about "Be it, dont dream it" =P Rocky Horror freakin Rocks!

1. Is your religion a cult?

All religions, by definition, are cults. The word cult has a negative connotation, so most people will claim all religions are cults except for the one they belong to.

2. Obama and the Cult of personality?

The Right did not have a problem with it when it was Reagan and the Cult of personality... or did you forget that? WEAK.

3. What is your favorite "end of the world" cult?

The Answer's At The End by George Harrison BQ1: Not really. BQ2: Yay

4. Do you think BLM is like a cult?

Yes BLM is very much like a Cult. When they have a convention it is all about pledging support and obedience to the cult leader. When the Cult leader of BLM uses the power of their office to try to force foreign governments to do their political bidding, the cultists rally around and defend the cult leader rather than hold him or her accountable. When the BLM Cult Leader's dear friend embezzles money from cultists, they defend dear leaders friend and call it a hoax. When the BLM cult leader calls news he doesn't like fake news, his or her cult followers turn off all critical thinking and rational thought processes. When a cult follower named Qanon makes crazy conspiracies about the BLM cult leader; the cult leaders followers take the bait hook line and sinker, zero critical thinking skills applied.Oh wait, my bad it's not BLM that is the cult, it's Trump supporters. Do you think BLM is like a cult?Do you think the Black Lives Matter is like a cult?

5. Cult TV series with Dark themes?

series's....can not think of many. the outer limits, and twilight zone are the only ones I can think of. Ah and tales of the crypt which rulez!

6. Is the Assemblies of God a cult?

Seems you just went to a bad church or had a bad experence. Or maybe you are thinking you can read minds and tell what people are thinking. You might want to work on that. Jesus did not have to put up with the Photos that are printed in the newspaper and also did not have to be to concerned with what people thought as he knew he was going to die on the cross. Preachers of today have to take all that into considerats. I am a member of the AOG Chruch and a man. I befriend many people and woman to boot. And i have to admit that i must keep a watchful eye when helping people because satan is always trying to accuse people. You know the drill. Good luck. GOD bless

7. Is the GOP a Cult or a Political Party?

The GOP is not a cult

8. Is Islam a religion or a cult?

Cults are defined to be a small religious group that have very dark backgrounds, Satanism is an example of a cult, it has a very extreme and dark practices and is very small, it is not a type of religion you see everyday. And their history goes back to the middle ages, when devil worshipers used to sacrifice people to Satan and rape people as a practice too. Islam is the opposite, it is an actual religion with normal practices and has a history unlike Satanism. So no it is not a cult, no where near that level. Example of cult practices: Examples of Islamic practices: Completely parallel:But unless you take Salman Rushdie's "The Satanic verses" account as an example, that is a different story and concept of how he sees Islam.

9. Is the Mormon religion a cult? Why or why not?

First of all I am LDS. So instead of just getting mad (which I am at people like you who hear hype and do not take time to learn about us) I am going to give details. BTW you person who like explained that South Park episode (see you claim they brain-wash us, it is advised to only listen and watch things that will bring us closer to Jesus and God, yet I think it's hilarious and I watch it with no, I repeat NO, consequences.) uh yea they really twisted our beliefs. Joseph Smith did meet Heavenly Father and Jesus in the Grove. And yes, Moroni came to him and told him about the golden plates. And guess what Joseph translated them into our Book of Mormon, but he let 5 people (besides himself and the guy he hired to publish it) see it to witness. Also he did not read it from a hat!!!! Here is a list that the ex-mormon (see? She left our church and she was given no consequences!) posted to claim we were. And I will explain each one, and why/ or why not we fall into that catagory. 1.The group displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader and (whether he is alive or dead) regards his belief system, ideology, and practices as the Truth, as law. -Our 'leader' is Heavenly Father (God) and Jesus. We have prophets now-a-days to help us through these hard times. Also our religion would not be here without the help of Joseph Smith and others, and we appriciate that, but uh notice the name of our church 'The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints'. I believe that states our cause. 2.Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or even punished. -If someone doubts or questions our beliefs, they are free to leave, (as I said before with no consequences) pray, and/or ask anyone for help or guidance. 3. Mind-altering practices (such as meditation, chanting, speaking in tongues, denunciation sessions, and debilitating work routines) are used in excess and serve to suppress doubts about the group and its leader(s). -Well we are just another Christian religion, so if we do it, then I guess everyone else does too. I was born into the LDS religion and raised by it. I questioned it when I was about 10 and I was free to go to other churches. I went to Catholic and Baptists and neither one felt exactly right. But my point is Catholic was more brain-washing and numbing then the LDS church is. So I went back to my LDS ways (and I am on to this day.) 4. The leadership dictates, sometimes in great detail, how members should think, act, and feel (for example, members must get permission to date, change jobs, marry-or leaders prescribe what types of clothes to wear, where to live, whether or not to have children, how to discipline children, and so forth). -We get advised on how to live our lives yes. But like I said before we do not HAVE to follow them. I watch South Park and I do not get punished. I am very thankful for those guidelines. Because of them I was not raised drinking, smoking, getting tattoos, and getting into sexual stuff. If I did not have them I would be a non-virgin slut who has a baby with no boyfriend and who did not respect my body and self. 5. The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader(s) and members (for example, the leader is considered the Messiah, a special being, an avatar-or the group and/or the leader is on a special mission to save humanity). -As I said before, we are just another church. We are no better then anyone anywhere. 6. The group has a polarized us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society. -Well how can we not have that mentality with uneducated people claiming we are a harmful cult 24/7?!?! 7.The leader is not accountable to any authorities (unlike, for example, teachers, military commanders or ministers, priests, monks, and rabbis of mainstream religious denominations). -Uh I do not even get how we are part of that at all. 8.The group teaches or implies that its supposedly exalted ends justify whatever means it deems necessary. This may result in members' participating in behaviors or activities they would have considered reprehensible or unethical before joining the group (for example, lying to family or friends, or collecting money for bogus charities). -This one makes me mad. I am slamming my fingers on my laptop, I will just skip it or I will hacking start to swear!!!! 9. The leadership induces feelings of shame and/or guilt iin order to influence and/or control members. Often, this is done through peer pressure and subtle forms of persuasion. -The only thing like this at ALL is we have semi-annual interviews to check if we still believe in this church and if we are being moral in our everyday lives. Also we have one before we do temple work such as Baptisms for the dead. 10.Subservience to the leader or group requires members to cut ties with family and friends, and radically alter the personal goals and activities they had before joining the group. -No,
